5-6 The snail shell converts some of the spell's energy into a burst of destructive power. Any creature within 30 feet of the slug must succeed at a DC 15 Constitution check and take 1d6 violent damage per caster level on a failed save, or half that damage on a successful save.
Mayal-Tentacles.The flail snail has five flail tentacles. Each time the snail deals 10 or more damage in a single turn, one of its tentacles dies. When only one tentacle remains, the slug regenerates all dead in 1d4 days. When all of its tentacles die, the snail retreats into its shell and winsfull coverage, and begins to howl, a sound that can be heard up to 600 feet away and only stops when it dies 5d6 minutes later. Healing magic that restores limbs, like the regeneration spell, can interrupt this dying process.
[b] Antimagic Shell. [/b] The snail has an advantage on saving throws versus spells, and any creature that makes a spell attack against the snail has a disadvantage on the attack roll. If the snail succeeds on the saving throw versus a spell or fails a spell attack, an additional effect may occur, determined by rolling [d6]:
